At Waikuku Beach Holiday Park, dogs are welcome! Bookings for dog friendly sites MUST be made directly with the holiday park, as we have limited sites. For everyone’s enjoyment, there are some clear rules listed below that you will need to follow during your stay with your dog.

Unfortunately, we WILL NOT ACCEPT CATS. This is due to our proximity to the Ashley-Rakahuri Estuary reserve, which accommodates many treasured bird species.

1. You must comply with all of the local by-laws and regulations, available via the link below.
2. Your dog must be on a leash (not more than 1.8m) or in a carrier while in the Holiday Park.
3. Dogs are only permitted to be in the designated ‘dog friendly’ area of the Park.
4. No more than two dogs are allowed per site.
5. Your visitors are not permitted to bring dogs into the camp
6. Dogs must not be left unattended at any time.
7. Please pick up dog poo immediately.
8. Dogs are not permitted in any of the holiday park buildings.
9. Dogs shall remain within your control at all times.
10. We count on you to prevent your pet from making excessive noise, being disruptive, or aggressive towards other guests. If your pet is deemed dangerous, harmful, or disruptive, management has sole discretion to require you to find alternative accommodation. Pets that make constant loud noises day or night will not be permitted, you may be asked to leave if you are not able to control the dog’s noisy behaviour.
