About Waikuku Beach Holiday Park

Waikuku Beach is North Canterbury’s best kept secret, with its fabulous sandy beach, surfing waves, and safe swimming. We are located an easy 30 minute drive from Christchurch, and only 15 minutes from gorgeous Rangiora for fantastic shopping & eating options.

Our Owners

Waikuku Beach Holiday Park came under new ownership on 1 July 2024 to Steve Edwards & Jen Levien, who secured a 33 year lease. So, who are Steve & Jen? We have been owner/operators of Holiday Parks since 2003, and currently own four other holiday parks in key areas around New Zealand. We have done a lot of development over the years, so would like to think we have a pretty sound idea of what were doing. However, we are always open to listen and learn! As the old saying goes, you don’t know what you don’t know.

Steve has a background in engineering, and had his own engineering firm in Wellington. Prior to this, he drove coaches through the UK/Ireland, Europe, Scandinavia, and Russia for Contiki. Jen’s family have always been involved in the Holiday Park industry, and was literally born into this environment, as her parents purchased their first Holiday Park in the Far North in the early 1970s. Her two brothers and their wives also own Holiday Parks, so its a real family affair for us. In fact, Holiday Parks Conferences often turn into family reunions!

Our Plans

Our long term goal for Waikuku Beach Holiday Park is to turn it into a quality, modern, clean, and user friendly accommodation provider where you can bring your family, friends, grandparents and grandkids to create those holiday memories that last a lifetime. Over time, we will be offering a small range of accommodation options where guests will be able to make the most of the easy beach access and stunning surrounding area. So, moving forward it will be an exciting time to be involved with Waikuku Beach Holiday Park!
